Travis is a member of the Business and Commercial Litigation Division. He has represented clients in a wide range of commercial litigation matters through trial and appeal. His practice includes breach of contract, fraud, business tort, employment, non-compete, fiduciary duty, trade secret, trademark, and unfair competition matters.

- Represented a major oil company in a warranty and fraud case concerning the sale of a chemical plant, including two-month jury trial of 80 claims seeking $100 million.
- Represented a technology company in multi-million-dollar warranty and fraud cases brought by hospitals concerning the functionality of health care software.
- Represented a law school in one of 14 nationwide class action fraud suits challenging the accuracy of the school’s graduate employment statistics.
- Represented numerous businesses and executives in non-compete, trade secret and fiduciary duty cases involving TROs, preliminary injunctions, and suits for damages.

Before enrolling in law school, Travis served in the U.S. Marine Corps as a squad leader in an infantry company. After law school, he was a law clerk for the Honorable Joe B. McDade in the U.S. District Court for the Central District of Illinois. He previously practiced law at AmLaw 100 and AmLaw 200 law firms in Chicago, Illinois and Wichita, Kansas, and previously worked as an in-house litigation attorney for a large privately held diversified manufacturing company based in Wichita, Kansas.
